University in major collaboration to treat heart disease

The Big Step Challenge

City walking Festival - 10th to 18th September 2005. Take part in Sheffield's first ever walking festival - Step Forward Sheffield.

On Sunday 18 September 2005 all NHS colleagues, families and patients are invited to take part in the NHS Big Step Challenge in Endcliffe Park, as part of Step Forward Sheffield.

To support the NHS Big Step Challenge and promote walking as a fun, easy activity that can improve your health and wellbeing, we would like as many NHS colleagues to take part as possible. For all participants there is an option to raise money for The British Heart Foundation through sponsored walks of 2, 4 or 7 miles.

Invite your family and friends too; take your children on the Teddy Bear Walk, get dressed up for the fancy dress promenade, or simply relax and enjoy a full day's family fun.

A programme is available, containing information about all the walks taking place during the festival, by calling the Action Line on 0114 2011015.
