Join the Jog in June

Last year's Fun Run start line

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) has launched its second Jog In June taking place in Graves Park, Sheffield on the 19th June 2005, and the nation’s heart charity is urging people to pull on their trainers or walking shoes and help raise vital funds to fight heart disease.

This fun summer event is the ideal way to get out and get your heart pumping. With a 5km route around the park or ¾ mile mini marathon for the kids, there’s something to suit all ages and abilities and how you get round the course is up to you – run it, walk it or crawl it!

Last year over 200 people took part who together raised over £6,500 and the BHF hopes this year’s event will be bigger and better. Money raised will fund pioneering heart research into the causes and treatment of heart disease among men, women and children.

Entry for the Jog or mini marathon is £6 per person with children under 10 entering free of charge. For more details or an entry form please call freephone 0800 085 2280.
